Roundstone Summerfest raises €4,000 for Charity
A big thanks must go out to everyone who participated and enjoyed this years Roundstone Summerfest. In spite of torrential rain of almost biblical proportions (reports that animals went searching for the Ark have yet to be confirmed), which resulted in the changing of venues for many outdoor events, we are delighted to announce that the sum of €4,000 was raised for charity this year. The RNLI being our charity of choice, we will be handing over the monies to them in the near future.
So thank you thank you thank you to anyone who bought(or sold!) a t-shirt, manned the golf (on land or sea!), bought a Cow-Plop Square or contributed to our bucket collections; your generosity is very much appreciated. We hope that you thoroughly enjoyed all the great music and fun events that took place (in spite of the weather!) and look forward to seeing you back again for Summerfest ‘09!
