On Friday 23th March 2007, the Summerfest Committee was awarded the Robb Memorial Plaque and Trophy for “Outstanding Fundraising” by the Irish RNLI Lifeboat Service. This was in recognition by the huge efforts undertaken for the past 5 years by Roundstone Summerfest. It is thanks to the many many volunteers, sponsors, artists, musicians and members of the local and visiting community that this achievement has been realised. Roundstone Summerfest is particularly proud of this award and to be associated with such a worthwhile local charity. Here’s to another successful fundraising year in 2007!
A HUUUUUGE thank you to everybody who contributed to this years collection for the RNLI Lifeboat service by buying t-shirts, donating at live music events, buying cow-drop squares and much much more. We are absolutely thrilled to announce that the grand sum of €5,500 was raised this year(2006), and was donated to the Clifden and Aran Lifeboats. Thank you again for all your support!

Great news, after a gap of two years, Summerfest favourites The Wilful are returning to play this years Beat-on-the-Street! Kick-off is at 9pm on Friday August18th, and as always there’ll be a great “Trad-Fest” of Irish tunes on the street from 2pm to get things up and running!
